Why is this needle ideal for Invasive Physiotherapy treatments?

  1. It is not silicone coated to avoid microabrasions at high frequencies.
  2. Inserting them into the handle is very simple as there is no guide.
  3. They are specially designed for use in neuromodulation.
  4. Suitable for EPTE® Percutaneous Therapeutic Electrolysis
  5. Suitable for EPI® Percutaneous Intratisular Electrolysis

Invasive physiotherapy is indicated for tendinopathies (Achilles, patellar, supraspinatus), epicondylitis and epitrochleitis, plantar fasciitis, muscle tears, carpal tunnel syndrome, ligament injuries, tendinopathies of synovial tendons (Quervain's tenosynovitis), and also for PGM.

In many cases, these techniques can avoid surgery on muscles, ligaments and tendons. They are also generally cost effective for patients and offer an improvement in their physical therapy treatment.

Is invasive physiotherapy painful?

We can say that the application of these needles in patients is practically painless since they have been designed to easily penetrate the skin, minimizing pain.

Are invasive therapies effective?

Yes, and they are usually very effective from the first session. However, at least 5 sessions will be required to achieve full recovery from the injury being treated.

Contraindications of Invasive Physiotherapy

There are practically no contraindications except for those people who have a phobia of needles or sharp objects.
