What is Ryodoraku

The word comes from Ryo which means good, Do which means Conduction and Raku which means Channel or meridian. It is a Japanese term coined by Dr. Sasagawa to define the skin bioelectric phenomenon that Dr. Nacatani discovered in his research on skin electropermeability. Nacatani discovered a systematic alignment of hyperelectroconductive zones or points, in the presence of pathology, which mostly corresponded to the classic acupuncture channel. Therefore, Ryodoraku means “Channel of Good Conduct.”

The electroconductive response is known as the “Ryodoraku Phenomenon.” Since it does not occur in healthy people, this phenomenon is a reflection of pathological conditions of the acupuncture channel. In other words, when a disease occurs, the electrical resistance in the related skin reflex zones decreases.

Western medicine calls these electrical impulses a bioelectric phenomenon , which is also reflected in the dermatomes (area of skin innervated by a root or dorsal nerve of the spinal cord). The points for measuring the meridians are located in the folds of the hands and near the ankles.

Biomeasurement is carried out with a current of 12 volts. The procedure consists of applying the probe to the aforementioned acupuncture points, ensuring that the pressure exerted on it with the probe is homogeneous at all points to avoid deviations.

What is obtained with Ryodoraku measurements

With the help of the detectors and stimulators , a graph is obtained where energy values expressed in colored lines are presented. The Ryodoraku software conveniently provides a snapshot of the values, detailing the left side of the body (blue line), the right side (red line), and the average of both sides (black line).

The graphs have two horizontal black lines that enclose the normal ranges. Values below the lower line will indicate energetic emptiness of the organ in question, and values above the upper line will indicate energetic fullness of the organ.
