Tourmaline kinesiotape is a neuromuscular bandage that enhances the properties of regular Kinesio Tape through the Tourmaline gem that, when in contact with sweat, releases negative ions that increase blood circulation and improve performance and recovery after physical exercise.
It is based on the technique of activating the neurological and circulatory systems, treating injured muscles and activating the body's recovery process. Neuromuscular bandaging is a technique for treating nerves, muscles and organs. What is Tourmaline and what are its benefits?
Tourmaline is a mineral with multiple uses. It cleanses, purifies and transforms dense energy into lighter energy. When it comes into contact with the skin, it releases heat, infrared rays and negative ions that penetrate the skin and promote blood flow. It has a local sedative effect on nerves, as well as improving circulation and physical performance and shortens recovery time.
What are its characteristics?
- Made from high quality latex free cotton (97% cotton and 3% elastane).
- The elasticity of 130% to 140% is comparable to the thickness and elasticity of human skin.
- The tape has a corrugated, hypoallergenic eudermic acrylic adhesive on one side and is also thermoplastic. This means that the tape expands when heated and retracts when cooled.
- Recommended iso time for most intense effect: 3-4 days. Max: 7 days.
- Water resistant and excellent adhesive strength, even after bathing or showering.
- Comfortable to wear, oxygen permeability and very good dermatological tolerance.
- Clear marking on the back of the tape, ensuring easy measuring and cutting.
- It does not leave adhesive marks on the skin after removing it.
How to use?
Place the Tourmaline Kinesio Tape on the muscle area you want to relieve and treat to reduce tension on the injured structures. They can also be used on healthy athletes to improve their performance.
