The conical, 2 mm height stainless steel pellets provide more stimulation to the points, and you can expect immediate effect.
Each pellet comes with high quality tan colored round shape φ12 (0.47” dia.) plaster. It is applied for both ear and body points likewise the standard pellets from Magrain Gold and Silver types.
Magrain and Accu-Patch (see next page) are commonly used for both ear and body points. The small φ 1.2 stainless steel, silver or gold pellets produce a long acting, continuous compression effect on the point. Gold is said to tonify or energize; Silver sedates or calms; and Stainless Steel balances or harmonizes.
Generally, pellets should be changed every 2 to 3 days to achieve the maximum effect (usually the body will adapt to the pressure after 2 to 3 days)
Before applying, the skin should be thoroughly cleaned with alcohol and the tape applied with a good seal.
The patient may be reminded to gently press or stimulate these pellets occasionally during the day or as otherwise directed.
