Nien Ying plants help to eliminate the evils of wind, cold and humidity; to improve circulation; to strengthen and warm the Yang of the body.
What is each moxa cigar used for: Nien Ying, Tai Yi and Qing Ai Tiao?
- Nien Ying is best indicated to treat the accumulation of damp cold in the pelvis of women.
- Tai Yi , is more indicated for the treatment of ""Bi"" (obstruction) syndromes of the perversities of cold and humidity, especially in muscles and joints.
- Qing Ai Tiao is most indicated to treat the Syndrome of stagnation and freezing of cold wind-dampness in tendons and bones and the Syndrome of freezing of stomach and intestines. But it can be used for a large number of ailments. Unlike the other two, it is not a mixture, it is pure Artemis.
Why use moxa cigars?
The use of moxa is one of the oldest therapeutic forms within Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The blocked vital energy can be released again by the action of the heat produced by the combustion of mugwort on some specific acupuncture points.
Moxibustion defends the meridians from humidity and releases the cold. According to the western conception, the heat treatment improves the blood flow of the tissues, stimulates the functions of the body and strengthens the immune system.
