Shônishin is a non-invasive acupuncture method that is also called Pediatric Acupuncture.
It was developed in Japan about 250 years ago for pediatric treatment.
Instead of needles, we work with different types of instruments that are applied to certain reflex areas, segments of meridians and acupuncture points of the trunk and extremities by rubbing linearly, pressing or tapping in order to cause light stimulation.
The therapeutic effect of this form of treatment lies in the fact that Shônishin acts in a regulatory manner on the peculiarities of childhood development, and in particular on the central and vegetative nervous system.
As the Shônishin therapeutic method has no side effects and is also completely painless, it seems to be tailored to the needs, discomforts and illnesses of children and young children.
